Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Rixel, including its security scans, findings, recommendations, and connected-service features. By signing in to or using Rixel, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Rixel helps you inspect applications for potential security and quality issues. The service may change over time as we improve, remove, or add features.
Scan results are automated assistance, not a guarantee that an application is secure, compliant, or free of defects. You are responsible for reviewing results and deciding what changes to make before deploying software.
Accounts and connected services
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in access secure and for the activity that happens through your account. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
When you connect a third-party service, you authorize Rixel to use the permissions you approve to provide the requested feature. You must have the right to grant those permissions and must follow the third party's terms and policies.
Acceptable use
You may use Rixel only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- use the service to violate another person's rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or systems;
- interfere with, overload, or probe the service in a harmful way;
- upload malicious code or content intended to compromise others; or
- circumvent usage limits, access controls, or security measures.
Your content
You retain ownership of code, repository content, prompts, and other materials you provide to Rixel. You grant Rixel the limited rights needed to host, process, scan, display, and return that content to provide the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you submit.
Availability and termination
We work to keep Rixel available and useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or end access if it is reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address misuse, or discontinue the service.
You may stop using Rixel at any time. Provisions that by their nature should continue after access ends, including ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability, will continue to apply.
Disclaimers and liability
Rixel is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Rixel disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use scan results and deployment recommendations at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits liability where applicable law does not allow that limitation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Rixel changes. When an update is material, we will provide notice through the service or another reasonable channel. Your continued use of Rixel after the updated terms take effect means you accept them.
Contact
If you have a question about these terms, contact the Rixel team through the support channel available with your account.
